A great opportunity has become available in our da Vinci Surgery team as a Business Manager – Capital.
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Business Manager - Capital that can lead a team and expand the footprint of da Vinci technology within South East Asia. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical industry and a focus on developing strong relationships with surgeons and hospital executives.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the da Vinci system footprint.
- Build and manage a robust capital sales pipeline across public and private sectors.
- Lead and mentor Business Development Managers and Product Specialists.
- Collaborate on tenders and proposals for Greenfield and Brownfield opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with reference sites, surgeons, and hospital executives.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to inform strategy.
Sales Management & Forecasting
- Oversee sales forecasts, budgets, and transition from installation to operational use.
- Monitor market trends and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Present monthly pipeline and performance reports to the General Manager.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with Product Managers to ensure team readiness and product knowledge.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, education, and technical support teams.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.
People Management
- Act as a mentor and partner to the team, sharing best practices and supporting their professional development.
Collaborate across internal teams (marketing, education, technical support) to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.

This role requires a passion for clinical and capital sales whilst having the ability to build strong surgeon advocacy. Expert relationship management is required to ensure a strong network of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience required:
Essential
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the medical or
- surgical industry.
- Proven success in managing complex portfolios and driving product growth.
- Expertise in long-term product strategy, innovation, and market analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable
- Experience managing international product portfolios and navigating global regulatory environments.
- Track record of leading change, driving innovation, and continuous improvement.
