You will be responsible for:
Sales Management of assigned team members:
- Support team members as a sales and business coach and trainer;
- Spend an appropriate amount of time in the field with assigned members of the sales team;
- Proactively inspect, analyze and report on, to the Business Manager, the sales activity, effectiveness and effort from the team, to ensure that the sales effort and results meet company expectations;
- Identify skill gaps and address through training, development and coaching;
- Improve the performance of the team by identifying, implementing and managing business resources, programs, sales tools, and sales growth initiatives;
- Monitor and improve territory planning and internal/external customer communications;
- Train, support and motivate the team members to achieve sales budgets and KPIs;
- In conjunction with the Product Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager, ensure team is adequately trained in product features and benefits;
- In conjunction with the Business Manager assist with efficient and effective travel, sales and educational activity of direct reports;
- Leverage resources (people, education and product) to achieve sales targets and strategic goals;
- Provide first-line staff support services to team;
- On request prepare sales reports for the Business Manager;
- Assist Business Manager to develop sales forecasts and budgets;
- Drive implementation of the sales plan in accordance with marketing strategy;
- Provide in-field market information regarding marketing execution;
- Identify marketing opportunities - plan, develop and execute;
- Assist with execution of industry conferences, exhibitions and seminars;
- Maintain professional relationships with key accounts and KOLs;
- Ensure team members comply with all reporting, stocktaking and administrative requirements within the requested timeframe;
- Complete all reporting, business planning and administrative tasks by the due date;
- Ensure Intuitive training modules are completed by due date
People Management responsibilities:
- Actively influence and manage the overall performance of the team against KPI’s, goals and objectives of the BU or Support function. Conduct regular conversations and performance reviews;
- Develop and assess ongoing employee performance, providing constructive feedback and improvement action plans/personal development plans; Manage team/employee adherence to compliance, policies, procedures and relevant legislation;
- Drive team engagement and morale through effective communication and continuous improvement. Create and actively drive/reinforce a high performance and employee engagement culture, espouse, develop our organisational values and culture;
- Ensure effective recruitment of the right people with the right skills in the right positions at the right time;
- Ensure effective on-boarding of new employees. Manage the probation period for new employees ensuring regular feedback is provided, improvement actions instigated if necessary.

Experience required:
- 5 years minimum relevant work experience;
- Commitment to ongoing training;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- High level of Business Acumen;
- Sound computer skills;
- Ability to liaise and communicate with other senior professionals within the business
Desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications;
- Proven understanding of stock management;
- Understanding of TGA/Regulatory Affairs;
- Experience within the healthcare industry.
