The opportunity…
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) team, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Here is your chance to be involved in the latest surgical technologies, support customers and surgeons in the Operating Theatre.
- The successful applicant will become an PRS expert across multiple clinical/surgical specialties.
- Collaborating with customers, colleagues and managers to effectively execute PRS technology training for HCPs.
- Develop, support and working closely with the team in all trainings & sales activities to ensure consistently growing trained HCPs.
- Responsibly manage administrative tasks, sales and demos activities for achieving both financial and non-financial KPIs.

- Achieve sales targets and deliver KPI’s.

- Develop sales strategies and tactics in conjunction within the PRS Team, ensuring alignment to the approved marketing plan, as well as implementation of these strategies and tactics.
- Submit monthly sales reports inclusive of sales forecasting and market intelligence including competitor’s information by the due date.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and customer database including customer targeting.
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and training to customers.
- Manage territory stock to a high standard through SAP, through regular stock counts.
- Maintain all stock keeping requirements per policy, including all demo stocks.
- Complete all administrative tasks by the due date.
- Attend exhibitions, conferences and seminars as directed.
- Additional duties and sales-related activities as required from time to time.
- Participate in sales forecasts and feasibility studies for new products as requested.
- Maintain awareness and inform relevant company personnel of major competitors’ current strategies in relation to key accounts and major buying groups.
- Assist the Business Manager, Sales Manager and Product Manager to identify movements in competitive unit selling prices and promotional programs in key market segments.
Experience required:
Essential
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Permit to work in Malaysia.
- Proven skills in sales, territory management, presenting, influencing and time management.
- Demonstrated competence in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- High standard of demonstrable written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel
Desirable
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience selling in medical devices and/or OT/CSSD hospital environment.
- Minimum 5 years relevant clinical experience.
- SRN background would be a plus point
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the sciences – degree or similar.
